The S-Circuit Cup has come and gone, and while its impact will be felt for some time, it's time we move forward. What better way to move forward than a roster shakeup? E3 Officials have conducted the very first Roster Tour Trade, swapping 8 competitors at random. No one wrestler could be traded more than once. The mixup is expected to create some new matchups on each tour to keep things fresh, yet familiar. Let's take a look at all the trades that went down!
Tour A sends Showalter to Tour B for Drake Drevus
The most high-profile trade of the day saw Bret Showalter (4-1-0) traded from Tour A to Tour B for Drake Drevus (1-3-0). Showalter is having the best season of his career, even though he came up short in the E3 Heavyweight title match at Night 1 of the S-Circuit Cup. Drake Drevus, on the other hand, is having the worst season of his career. Perhaps a change of scenery is just what Hell's Knight needs to turn his record around.
Tour A Sends Heater Dugan to Tour B for Flash Flapjack
A big surprise this year has been the success of rookie Heater Dugan. Dugan is 3-3-0 and has held his own against top competition. Now, he'll be headed over to the blue tour, where he'll face new competition such as Solomon Myles and Henio Flynn. On the other end of the trade, Flash Flapjack heads to the red brand where he'll reunite with his New Wave Express partner Surf King. Flash was floundering in singles competition, so this might send waves through the tag division (pun intended).
TOUR A SENDS Max Guess TO TOUR B FOR Johnny Fab
The big headline here is that Johnny Fab (who has seen little singles action at 0-1-0) will be able to team once again with Buddy Goodell, if they so choose. Fab and Goodell are former E3 Tag Team Champions. With this and the NWE possibly reforming, the tag division is certainly going to heat back up again. Max Guess has a lot of raw talent and potential, but he's currently sitting at 1-2-0. Now, that's far from a dead record, but Guess needs to find a way to pick up a win in his next match. Guess will now enter a Tour that has more MMA-focused wrestlers (Ledfist, Mondt, Gladstone) so Guess should feel right at home.
TOUR A SENDS Moose Manley TO TOUR B FOR Ed Oates
The least notable trade of the day is this one. Combined, Manley and Oates have 1 win and 6 losses between them, so they're not likely to have a huge impact on their new tours. Manley is the odd man out there, with the one win belonging to Ed Oates. Both these rookies know that they have to win to get a chance to progress their skills, and getting that first win is like getting your first hit in the Major Leagues. At some point, you'll break the ice and be able to relax a bit more. As it stands, Moose is on-edge and Oates is still trying to find his spot in the rock to carve out his name.
