E3 Officials have been hard at work discussing ways E3 can improve, and not just improve in the long run, but improve right now. There was fair warning that there would be some changes to E3 Wrestling after the S-Circuit Cup was in the books, but we weren't sure exactly what those changes were going to be. Today, E3 President Gary Gribble sent out a Press Release stating exactly which changes were coming and why. Here's a look:
Time Limits
Currently in E3 Wrestling, Draws are possible via double countout, which is an extremely rare occurrence. E3 Officials are looking to both encourage more draws while also speeding up some events. Non-title Singles matches will now have a 20-minute time limit. Non-title Tag Team matches will now have a 30-minute time limit. Title matches and Elimination matches will continue to have no time limit. President Gribble said, "We don't want matches to linger on E3 LIVE events any longer. We want the action to be quick and the competition to be fierce. Win in 20 minutes or neither wrestler wins. This also adds more value to wins and losses, which is good for the company as a whole."
The time limit changes will begin immediately.

Randomly Generated Cards
Another thing E3 Officials have concocted to mix up the monotony of the E3 LIVE tour is the idea of having cards that are completely randomly generated. A Random Card Generator has been made by the folks in the E3 Tech Lab in accordance to the current rosters. Each wrestler is currently assigned a number, and the Generator calls upon numbers to create the cards. Here's an example of a generated card:
Match #1
Joshi Tag - 8 & 3 vs 5 & 10
Lindsey Paro & Amie Stephens vs Dia & Rinry Paro
Match #2
HW Tag - 9 & 11 vs 3 & 8
Moose Manley & Malik Hussein vs Max Guess & Solomon Myles
Match #3
Joshi Singles - 2 vs 11
Akina Ledfist vs Shawnda LaRose
Match #4
LW Singles - 12 vs 5
Elevarse vs Brax Jonas
Now, obviously, this contains both Lightweight and Joshi Division competitors, so a card would have to be generated according to each specific roster. Officials think this will give us lots of fresh matchups we may not get, otherwise. This also has the potential to give us quite a few upsets throughout the season.
There's no word on when the first RGC (Randomly Generated Card) will take place.
