The challenger is Serge, the former Sergio Zendejas. Serge, despite his size, is one of the most winningest wrestlers in E3's history. Making his way from the bottom of the E3 Dojo in San Antonio, he'll return to the city and try to bring the NA Championship back home.
This will be a high-paced, entertaining match-up, but make no mistake that both of these talented young stars will do anything in order to bring that championship to their home countries...
Future Women's Battle Royal
Lindsey Paro, Rinry's sister, was scheduled to be in the mix for this title match, but she was sent to rehab to deal with an alcohol problem she picked up after trying to deal emotionally with being attacked on the streets one night. Instead, Rinry will be fighting Dia one-on-one, which is certainly better odds for the champion. Rinry Paro is a former E3 Joshi champion, but she only held the title for a mere 2 weeks before losing the championship to her sister, Lindsey. It was Lindsey's 3rd title win. Rinry has a chance to chip away at her sister's legacy, but she'll have to beat the Devil herself to do it...
Surf King and Flash Flapjack have told E3 officials that they want a match at Zenith, and they're prepared to fight anyone who walks through the curtain. E3 officials apparently have a team ready to go, but we don't know who that team is. Unfortunately, because of that reason, we can't say much more about this match-up. Who will step up to the challenge?
AFTER THE MATCH
Future Men's Battle Royal
The Game Changers, who have been the E3 Tag Team Champions since they won the titles at Zenith IV from the British Fight Society, have been the top team in all of wrestling. But that was challenged when Ken Thibideux, one half of The Game Changers, entered rehab for an bad cocaine habit back in early August. That set forth the problem that the Tag Titles must be defended at Zenith, to which Thibideux would not return in time, and E3 officials gave Ed Ray his options. Ray could either find a replacement partner, or he could fight the challengers in a handicap match with no cut play. Ray, being the prideful man that he is, opted to defend the titles by himself.
The challengers are The Backyard, who have become the most winningest team in E3 this season. Both Brax Jonas and Miko Sunseri were floundering on their own, and when the two realized that they had similar roots in their pro wrestling careers (learning how to fight in the backyard), it was a match made in hell. From Arizona to Ohio, Jonas and Sunseri have bled in many a backyard, but at Zenith V, they have the opportunity to prove all the critics wrong, and they have the odds in their favor.
Michael Morris was the first-ever E3 Champion, and he's of course well known for his record-breaking Tag Team title reign with fellow British Fight Society partner Noah Gladstone.
Drake Drevus is a 2x E3 Champion, holding the title for a combined reign of 24 months, with his current title reign making up 21 months of that total reign! That's right, Drevus has now held the E3 Championship for nearly two years without being defeated in a match for the title.
Drevus and Morris have history together, as well. Morris broke Drevus's arm at the ECW Arena on 1/3/2012 (which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjaPHQhuzA8)
Morris won the famed S-Circuit Cup this year to earn this title match at Zenith V, and he's going to need to wear down Drevus early with every hold he knows. Drevus is known for ending matches as quickly as he possibly can, living by the "don't get paid by the hour" policy. Hell's Knight is not a performer; he's a fighter. At Zenith V, we're in for the fight of the decade...
