Alpha VII Fallout
Monday marked the return of E3 Wrestling with the Alpha VII event in San Antonio. The word is that production had some rust to shake off, but things got on track in time to pull the event off. In the ring, the event was certainly a memorable one. We saw the rookies who will eventually become the stars in the coming years, we saw Ryan Chambers finally get his revenge on Lexicon, we saw Toyama Hansen capture her second E3 Joshi Championship, and we saw Jerry Brock assert his dominance over the old guard and dethrone Drake Drevus after a 3 year title reign. That's quite a tone set by the debut event of Season 7.
Lightweight Championship
Now that we know the results of Alpha VII, we still don't have an E3 Lightweight Champion (which could have been Persia Mask, had he won the 2017 S-Circuit Cup). The only Lightweight Division competitor that scored a singles win at Alpha VII was Ryan Chambers, so he's automatically the favorite to be awarded the title, but the problem is that we don't know how the title will be instituted yet. We should know soon, though, and we'll deliver the news as soon as we get it.
